Act Apprentices will train in the designated trades at NFR Railway-owned workshops and units in accordance with the Apprentices Act of 1961. NFR Apprentice Assam 2024 Age Limit:
✔️ The candidates must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 as of December 3, 2024.
✔️ The upper age restriction can be lowered by five years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC candidates.
✔️ The upper age limit is lowered by ten years for those with disabilities.
NFR Railway Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
For the departments of engineering, mechanical, electrical, S&T, personnel, and accounts:
✔️ Candidates must have received at least 50% of the possible points in their overall score from a recognized board after passing the 10th grade (Matric) test or its equivalent under the 10+2 exam system.
✔️ The State Council for Vocational Training or the National Council for Vocational Training may grant a provisional certificate or a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the applicable trade.
For the Medical Division (MLT-Radiology & Pathology):
✔️ 12th grade at the very least (under the 10+2 system) Pass with at least 50% in biology, chemistry, and physics.
NFR Railway Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process:
✔️ Based on the merit list, which is created by calculating the proportion of marks earned in both ITI and Matriculation.
✔️ A final merit list equivalent to the number of slots in descending order of the candidate’s percentage of marks will be prepared, unit-, trade-, and community-wise.
